Mystery of Nihon-Shoki, the Chronicle of Japan and Kojiki, Record of Ancient Matters

I wrote an article on the famous anthology called Nihon-Shoki, the Chronicle of Japan and the similar anthology was made around the same time as Kojiki, Record of Ancient Matters.
This is also a collection of different stories and tales into a form of anthology but how it was formed is very intriguing.

Kojiki was made under the command of Emperor Tenmu

and Nihon-Shoki was written under the command of Emperor Jito.

It is unknown why two similar history chronicles were made around the same time, but the content of these tales slightly differ.

Emperor Tenmu version Kojiki has the concept of Heaven and the Netherworld and the genesis of the birth of Japan is not written.
Emperor Jito version Nihon Shoki has the depiction of the genesis, the birth of Japan and has no Netherworld nor Heaven concept.
Kojiki is more closely related to local culture of Japan, on the other hand Nihon Shoki has more relation to Chinese culture.

In the course of Japanese history, Kojiki the Emperor Tenmu version has been more often believed and referred more than the Emperor Jito version of Nihon Shoki.
