Coming of Age Day Stupidity
Coming of Age Day is coming soon and it's a trend in Japan once a year they have this event in each prefecture in Japan. Coming of Age Day is called "Seijin-Shiki" in Japanese, which means becoming a matured man ceremony.
People in Japan do all sort of stupid and weird stuff on this day like riding bikes, wearing some stupid looking clothes. Women often wear more uniformed clothes, but some men dress up really ridiculously.
Here are some of the examples.
They spend so much money on those clothes and decorations. It is unbelievable that those folks are 20 years old. This happens every year and I guess these Japanese never learn to be smarter.
