Job Hunting Madness
Japanese are so neurotic that they do not think with their brains.
Take a look at example of "Shushoku", which is translated as job acquisition.
University and college students will be wearing their stupid looking suit called "Recruit Suit" and they run companies to companies, submitting ridiculous load of resumes and CVs just to spread the risk of not getting employed.
You see this storm trooper looking clones? They are like zombies, they don't care why they are even wearing that stupid shit and they probably don't even have an idea what they are actually doing.
Some even submit more than 100 different companies and I have never heard of such an insane recruitment.
In addition to that, Japanese companies have weird crooked view of recruiting workers. They usually want new graduates and if you aren't one of them, your chances of getting recruited is close to zero, if you are aiming for a full time job. This is the very reason why they try to obtain their jobs in the last year of their college or university. When they are senior students they go crazy just to hunt their jobs. Some even start their job preparation when they are in junior year. This causes students unable to focus on their academic achievements in senior year caused by the pathetic recruitment system.
Also culturally, Japanese companies do not see your college grade as something important. They do not even bother to ask your GPA. All it matters for companies is that the name of your school and they don't even care about which faculty or department you belong to. It's the name that they value the most, and if you happen to be in well-known prestigious schools in Japan, you will have a better chance of getting jobs.
This whole things reflect lack of aptitude of people in Japan for precise decision making, therefore they solely rely on the names of universities and that indicates they do not value your individual personality, they don't care. You are treated as a piece of machines, and school names are indicator of which parts. They label you like livestock.
